New cabin with Sauna and Hottub

Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience a wonderful stay in our nice house at the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park. Our chalet is located at Bospark 'Het Groene Hert', a small-scale park in Haarle, close to nice places such as Nijverdal, Holten and Ommen and a stone's throw from Avonturenpark Hellendoorn.
From our brand new house you can walk straight into the forest, walk onto the heath and there are numerous routes for cycling and mountain biking in the immediate vicinity. For that little bit of extra luxury, we have a real infusion sauna with infrared lamps and a user-friendly hot tub on biofuel, which you can enjoy.

PLEASE NOTE: The park is currently still under development, which means that there will be occasional work during the week. The road, street lighting and paving also still need to be completed. If all goes well, this will be completed before the summer. If you want to enjoy our beautiful spot now, don't bring your new white Nikes, but good outdoor shoes and be aware that it can still be pitch dark in the park at night.

Relaxed stay
The cozy sunny living room is the ideal place to relax after a day full of adventure in the beautiful surroundings, to play games together, work or watch Netflix on the couch. There is electric heating for the cold days and air conditioning for the hottest summer days. The living room has large bright windows and patio doors to the garden with several nice seating areas to catch some rays or just laze in the shade of the pine trees.

Wonderful Sleep
Our 4-person chalet has two bedrooms. The large room has a queen-size box spring and the smaller room has a cool bunk bed with 2 spacious mattresses. All beds have medium or warm duvets with pillows, duvet cover, fitted sheet, reading light and a place to charge your phone.

Bathroom
The bathroom is practically furnished and equipped with a spacious walk-in shower. There is a hairdryer available and there are towels and pool towels for each guest. We recommend that you bring your own bath slippers.

Kitchen
Our cabin is fully electric and has a kitchen with all the equipment you need, including a combination microwave, dishwasher, kettle, a regular coffee maker and a Dolce Gusto coffee maker, a few cups and tea bags for the first cup of tea or coffee are available and many other equipment, these are listed under Facilities. Tea, hand & dish towels are provided, as well as washing up sponge and washing up liquid.

Pets
Pets are not allowed in principle, but if you have a small dog we can discuss whether it is possible. Please contact us for this.

Wellness
The absolute highlight of our house is the self-built small infusion sauna, the infrared lamps and the hot tub. Our hot tub will be delivered in mid-May. No wood-fired hot tub, which is a lot of hassle with blocks of wood, thick clouds of smoke and after a few hours of waiting you still get a lukewarm bath or boiling hot water. This is NOT our case!
Our hot tub is almost ready to use upon arrival, you just need to set the desired temperature and start bubbling shortly afterwards. Let the stress of the day fade away while you enjoy a sauna, a cooling outdoor shower (ready in spring 2025) and then a lovely warm bath.

Our Welcome Package includes a refreshing bottle of bubbles, 2 infusion scents for the sauna and a delicious Finnish Kuusi Scrub. A very mild body and facial scrub made of pure pine wood with essential lavender oil. Perfect to use in the shower after a sauna session. 

Because of our wellness, we ask for a deposit of €200.00. This is fully refundable after careful inspection, assuming everything is left in perfect condition. The rules regarding use can be found under House Rules.

Parking and Garden
There is space for two cars right next to the chalet. Outside the park there will also be a number of parking spaces with charging stations in the short term, if you want to charge your electric car. Because our enclosed garden is located in a forest park, we have not created a cultivated garden. Amidst the pine trees, bushes, shrubs and a number of small terraces on our forest plot you can enjoy sun and shade. Of course everything still has to grow a bit, but we have tried to make it a nice garden now. Please note: Due to the wooded fire-hazardous environment, open fires are prohibited with us. A gas barbecue or electric griddle is of course no problem.

Surroundings
Our house is located in a forest park in Haarle, where peace and quiet is important. There are therefore no facilities such as a swimming pool, shops or restaurants in the park. A small playground will ultimately be the only facility, but there is plenty to do in the immediate vicinity.
There are pleasant places such as Hellendoorn and Nijverdal nearby, but the direct location on the Sallandse Heuvelrug, a popular destination for nature lovers, is of course unique. There are countless walking and cycling options and this region is 'the place to be' for mountain biking. In the area there are nice towns such as Ommen, Deventer, Enschede and Almelo and Avonturenpark Hellendoorn and the Aquaventura Slidepark are just a stone's throw away. Whether you want to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature or are looking for adventure and activity, the area around our nature house offers something for everyone. Come and discover it for yourself during your stay in our beautiful accommodation!

Finally, this. The park is located along the track that runs from Zwolle to Almelo, over which a small train passes several times an hour. However, it is not experienced as a nuisance by almost anyone, but we still want to mention it.
